One day shy of April and our “April showers” were in full swing. Thankfully for Alisa and Zac, the clouds opened up and it turned out to be an absolutely gorgeous day for a wedding.
Maplehurst Farms, located in the beautiful Skagit Valley, was such a lovely venue. Jessie, the owner, was so kind and helpful. The rustic aesthetic of the farm with its charmingly eclectic dishes and decor was complemented by a beautiful landscape. I hope to have the opportunity to shoot another wedding there in the near future!
Alisa and Zac make such an adorable couple. Their love for each other is evident, and their easygoing personalities make them a joy to be around. I was honored to be asked to photograph their wedding. It was so nice to see family and friends gather to celebrate this amazing couple’s special day. Observing the way they looked at each other and voiced their love for one another was truly touching.
Alisa selected Starkey Trowel & Treadle to do her flowers. They are an amazing new company that have officially started their business only recently, but have had years of experience. Their arrangements and bouquets are simply stunning, incorporating all local flowers and unexpected elements. If you're looking for a florist, let me know and I'll gladly share their contact information with you.
These photos evoke some of the thoughtful touches and delightful details that went into this memorable day. Enjoy!
